My water heater is acting up - should I repair it or replace it?

It depends on age and what failed. A bad thermocouple, element, or valve on a heater under about eight years old is usually worth repairing. Past ten years, or if the tank itself is corroding and leaking, replacement is the smarter spend - and we'll size the new unit right and flush out the hard-water scale that shortened the last one. Round Rock's mineral-heavy water is especially hard on heaters, so we'll be straight with you about which way makes sense.

How do you find a slab or behind-wall leak without tearing up my house?

We use electronic acoustic leak detection to pinpoint the leak first, so we open one small section instead of demolishing a whole floor or room. On main and sewer lines we run a self-leveling camera that locates bellies, roots, and broken joints to the foot. You see it on the monitor, then we cut exactly where we need to and nowhere else.

How long does a whole-home repipe take, and how disruptive is it?

Most repipes on a typical Central Texas home run one to three days depending on size, slab versus accessible runs, and how much brittle galvanized comes out. We pull the permit, work in stages so you're rarely without water for long, and protect the house with drop cloths and boot covers. The flat-rate quote holds even when we hit rusted lines behind the wall.

Is the sewer camera inspection really free?

On your first main-line drain clearing with us, the in-line sewer camera scan is on the house - new customers only. What kind of warranty do you offer?

Installs - water heaters, repipes, fixtures - carry a two-year warranty on both parts and labor. Every faucet, toilet, or disposal swap also gets new shutoff valves and braided supply lines so the joint doesn't weep down the road.
